SECURING UGANDANS' RIGHT TO ESSENTIAL MEDICINES (SURE)
SURE works to ensure that Uganda’s population has access to quality essential medicines and health supplies by strengthening the national pharmaceutical supply system.
Health facilities and services in many developing countries usually suffer from insufficient basic infrastructure. Medicine supply chain management, policy and storage are some of the major issues affecting these sectors.
SURE works to strengthen the national pharmaceutical supply system to ensure that Uganda’s population has access to quality essential medicines and health supplies. We work to establish a transparent pharmaceutical management information system that minimizes medicine stock-outs and waste.
SURE ensures health facilities both at central and district level are functional so Ugandans can access the medicines they need.
